All this warmer weather is an open invitation for our family to spend as much time outside as possible. The only drawback is how many mosquitos and other bugs are buzzing around and out for blood (literally). Bug spray is a must for us, but we hate having to lather up with all those chemicals you'd find in the spray at the store. Luckily we found this DIY bug spray that is made from all natural ingredients, protects our skin from those annoying bugs, and smells great! Best of all, you can make this quickly and easily too.

Supplies for 5oz Bottle

You can grab all 5 oils above from one spot here.

Bug Spray Directions:

  1. Drop each essential oil into your spray bottle.

  2. Put in a splash of witch hazel. This just helps the oils and water combine.

  3. Top off with distilled water until your 5oz bottle is filled.

  4. Shake and spray!

If you'd like to take any of your new bug spray to-go, pour some into these mini spray bottles so you can always have it on hand!

We absolutely love how this all natural DIY bug spray comes out. First and foremost it just works, it smells great, and doesn't leave your skin all sticky after use. If you're looking for an alternative to the bug spray you buy from the store, be sure to give this one a try!
