Once exiled to the basement, we made it a priority to move our laundry up to the first floor. Luckily the room already had a water hookup and adding in a dryer vent worked out seamlessly. We also replaced the cracking tile with vinyl flooring, added subway tile up the wall, and added shiplap the rest of the way. Making the space complete was the sliding barn door that really ties it altogether.
